Przestronne pokoje z trzema łazienkami i zasłonami na oknach dawały komfort snu, a kuchnia była dobrze wyposażona z czajnikiem i tosterem, choć piekarnik był odłączony od prądu. Widok na Karkonosze był ładny, a działka duża i zadrzewiona z biegającymi jelonkami obok. Dojazd utrudniał remont ulicy bez oznakowania, a podjazd miał ostre krawężniki uszkadzające opony.
